What is a good interacting toy for my rabbit?

My rabbit is a year old. He seems bored alot. I give cardboard boxes and he will chew at it, but only for like 10 minutes. And I bought a tube for him, but he rarely uses it. I don't want to spend alot of money. He hops around and explores, but i don't think that is fun. And he lays around alot. So i need help as to what toy i should get him. And I don't have money right to spend.|||I honestly think that he is lonely - have you considered getting him a playmate?

Rabbits love having a fellow companion, and bored rabbits benefit massively from having another rabbit to cuddle, groom and play with. If you can save up the money you will need to go to the vet and get both of the rabbits spayed/neutered (even if you get a male-male pairing they will fight). Male/female pairings are the easiest to bond, just make sure that they are both spayed and neutered. Fixing your rabbits does cost quite a lot so you will have to save up for the procedure, however it will be worth it in the long run since you won't be spending as much on toys.

If you go to your local rescue shelter you can have a look at female rabbits who will already be spayed (saving you money on one operation) and sometimes the animal shelters will bond the rabbits for you.|||I have a rabbit about 8 months old now and he loves the small toy i have given him. It costs $1 so its super cheap and it is just a bell in a caged ball that he picks up and throws around his cage only about 4 cm wide both ways but it can be interactive if you throw it to the rabbit, they will most likely chuck it back at you.

Hope this helps:)
