How do you hook eye toy up to computer to use as webcam?

I want to use my Eye Toy as a webcam but not sure how?Does anyone know how,I need good instructions because I am not that great with computers.|||put it in the USB slot (the rectangular one usually at the back of your computer, not the monitor, it should be at the back of the mother board. (the part that you put CD's into)
