What toy do people recommend to help baby pull himself up?

My 8 month old spends his entire play time pulling himself up to kneeling (and occasionally to standing) on the room divider bars! I'd like a sturdy toy that will take the weight of him pulling to stand without it toppling over. Any suggestions anyone?|||Mine uses the sofa, coffee table, baby gate and my legs :)

You need to get him a sturdy push along walker that won't tip. I'd suggest you avoid the ones full of bricks because they are great fun to throw at the cat/TV/mummy.

Not sure where you are in the world but I'll include a link to the one I've got my son for Christmas.|||Honestly, my daughter just learnt on househole items....one day I was asking myself basically the same question you have asked and the next day she pulled up on the washing basket, then the couch, then the coffee table....ANYTHING lol... she can now pull up smooth walls haha....

But we do have a similar thing to this

and it's been great. She pulls up on it and it's entertaining for her too..

Good luck!!|||I know there are some kind of bars to attach to your crib, I just can't for the life of me think of what it is called!

My son is also 8 months old and he pulls himself up on anything and everything that he can get a hold of!

Something like this might be ideal. Or a baby walker.

Good luck|||Get him one of those swings that hang in the door, and put it where he can touch the grown with his feet that will help him learn how to use his legs|||Maybe a walker??

|||my son always pulled himself up on the couch....that is pretty sturdy...
