What was the last toy you bought your child that turned out to be a complete waste of money?

or just a crappy toy?

For me it was the Aqua Sand with the "amazing" sand that turns back dry after it's been submerged in water. Spent $20 on the thing and it's the crappiest, messiest, most annoying toy to date. My 4 year old was over it within 20 minutes.

What about you?|||My 6 yr old asked for 3 things for xmas - Bendaroos, Pixos and a Leapster. That was all she wanted and she repeated it for weeks.

The Bendaroos and Pixos were used twice and now in a closet. Pixos would NOT stick together with any satisfaction and the Bendaroos seem pointless unless you are a trained artist. The leapster was a good buy as she has used it often but now wants a DS. :-0|||Most "theme toys" like Cars, or Wall-E, or Dora....these toys aren't sold for their quality they are sold because of the image of the movie/game/etc...they have on them. Almost every single one has been a giant waste of money.

I prefer good ol' Lego or Mega Blocks because they encourage imaginative play and are usually much better quality. They can be pricey but they last forever!|||I brought a Smart Cycle. Got up at 4 am to get in line. My 4 year old has played with it once. It is sitting in the closet.|||V-tech lap top for preschools. My daughter played with it for about 10 minutes. Later in the day I caught her using it for a stepping stool and leap pad and now it doesnt work. Colossal waste of money

Favorite toys for my 3 and 1 year old? kids baby stroller, old purses from thrift stores, hats, scarves, Tupperware, plastic dish ware sets, and old cell phones that dont work. yep not cost me more than a few bucks here and there.|||a battery powered 4 wheeler, not the recharchable battery kind, D sized batteries. My son is only 2 and he's already too big (he's actually a bit small for 2) for it and it doesn't have enough power. Don't waste your money, spend the money on a nice brand name one.|||None.Whatever my kids don't enjoy, I donate and they get use out of it.|||A talking Elmo doll that broke the first week we had it. Now it's just sitting there to occasionally frustrate my son. :(
