How can you check if a plastic or rubber toy item is safe?

How can you check if a plastic or rubber items is safe? Items such as toy rubber balls or plastic bottles.





I know some plastics item have a safety rating system with triangle a icon and number. But how can you check other items that don't have that symbol?|||buy products that are made in america.....|||Eat the product, if you die.. then it's obviously NOT safe.


--Oh it might have a label on it that says, "NOT SAFE"|||don't trust items that don't have symbols.
