How to remove transferred colour after machine washing soft toy?

I recently machine washed a soft toy and it has taken on a darker colour-now is tinged with grey from the original tan.Cannot dye it as is also dark brown in spots. Any ideas about how to return to the original?|||you can first soak it in hat water with oxi-clean then put it in the washer on delicate cycle and wash with woolite. :)
