My kids' playroom is a mess! I am in the process of trying to clean it, but I am wondering how I could maybe organize the toys better. I don't like toy boxes because children will pull out everything to find something at the very bottom of the box. How do you organize your kids' toys?|||We got these shelves from target which are cubed shaped. They have matching canvas drawers that you can buy separately.
Just put them on their sides to make them more stable.
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/185鈥?/a>|||we keep different catergories of toys in smaller rubbermaid boxes. for example, cars and trucks, blocks, toy food, baby toys each have their own box. the kids have to clean up one box of toys before they get another. they have a large toy box for the big stuff.|||similar to the one on cheryl website we have a 9 cubical shelf from target. we bought different colored canvas pop-up bins to put in each of the cubes that way they know what goes where. I believe ours was on sale for $35 just after Christmas! amazing buy!(plus $5 each bin) but you wouldnt have to get all bins could keep some empty and put bigger toys'/books in those spots :)! our bins have baby doll assessories, toy kitchen things, crafts, doll house things, shape sorta stuff, blocks, small stuffed animals, infant toys and potato head things :)!
ps. we attatched ours to the wall|||Something that I get recommended a lot is a net for stuffed animals. You can fit a lot of them in it, it doesn't take up any space at all because it's elevated, and you don't have to take them out to find one. It wouldn't work as well for "hard" toys, though.|||Clear storage boxes (tupperware with lids) for each type of item and tape a color picture of the item on the front of each box so the kids can clean them up and put them back on the shelf. Makes clean up a breeze and makes things SUPER organized.|||http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tot-Tutors-Toy鈥?/a> try this maybe this will work.
